Where Horror Gets Studied, Skewered, and Celebrated.

SXSW dropped the first wave of its Film & TV lineup, and horror-loving festival gremlin Grubby is already on the scene spreading the good word. He’ll be working the fest this year making sure screenings run smoothly and vibes stay high, so if you see him in the wild, he openly accepts hugs (No he does not. Please don't hug him).
On his radar so far: READY OR NOT 2, THEY WILL KILL YOU, I LOVE BOOSTERS and OVER YOUR DEAD BODY (the second Samara Weaving film of the fest because apparently one Weaving is never enough.)
Grubby also shouted out several no-distribution-yet gems that could become breakout discoveries: MALLORY'S GHOST, WISHFUL THINKING, FAMILY MOVIE (a film with Kevin Bacon and his whole family), PIZZA MOVIE, DRAG, and FIFTEEN (quinceañera horror!)
Check out Grubby's video and stayed tuned for the second wave announcement.

About Professor Horror
At Professor Horror, we don't just watch horror: we live it, study it, and celebrate it. Run by writers, critics, and scholars who've made horror both a passion and a career, our mission is to explore the genre in all its bloody brillance. From big-budget slashers to underground gems, foreign nightmares to literary terrors, we dig into what makes horror tick (and why it sticks with us). We believe horror is more than just entertainment; it's a mirror, a confession, and a survival story. And we care deeply about the people who make it, love it, and keep it alive.
