Where Horror Gets Studied, Skewered, and Celebrated.
She moved to escape tragedy, but something far darker is waiting for her in her dreams.
EYE FOR AN EYE opens in select theatres and on demand on June 20th. This horror-fantasy markes the feature debut of accalimed music video director Colin Tilley and stars Whitney Peak (The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, Gossip Girl) S. Epatha Merkerson (Chicago Med), Golda Rosheuvel (Bridgerton), and Finn Bennett (True Detective: Night Country).
After the sudden death of her parents, Anna (Peak) relocates from New York to a sleepy Florida town to live with her estranged grandmother (Merkerson). Struggling to adjust, she befriends a pair of local teens (Bennet and Laken Giles). But after witnessing a horrifying act of violence, Anna draws the attention of Mr. Sandman: a veneful spirit who stalks bullies in their dreams and devours their eyes when they wake.
Written by Elisa Victoria and Michael Tully, EYE FOR AN EYE blends dreamlike fantasty with nightmarish horror in a coming-of-age story where guilt and grief conjure monsters that never sleep.
About Professor Horror
At Professor Horror, we don't just watch horror: we live it, study it, and celebrate it. Run by writers, critics, and scholars who've made horror both a passion and a career, our mission is to explore the genre in all its bloody brillance. From big-budget slashers to underground gems, foreign nightmares to literary terrors, we dig into what makes horror tick (and why it sticks with us). We believe horror is more than just entertainment; it's a mirror, a confession, and a survival story. And we care deeply about the people who make it, love it, and keep it alive.
